A Court Of Mist And Fury Rhysand’s POV

Summary:

In the turbulent aftermath of our trials Under the Mountain, I, Rhysand, find myself entangled in a complex dance of politics, passion, and power. Feyre Archeron, now a High Lady of the Night Court, is haunted by the shadows of her past and the sacrifices made to save those she loves. As her marriage to Tamlin looms, Feyre grapples with a fractured soul, torn between loyalty and a burgeoning connection with me, the feared High Lord of the Night Court.

In “A Court of Mist and Fury,” the tapestry of fate unfolds, weaving together the threads of our intertwined destinies. Feyre must navigate the treacherous Spring Court while upholding our clandestine bargain, all the while confronting an imminent threat that could plunge our world into chaos. The journey ahead is fraught with harrowing challenges, forcing Feyre to confront her darkest fears, embrace newfound powers, and shape not only her own destiny but the destiny of a world on the brink of upheaval.

My Thoughts:

I am SO GLAD I found the ACOMAF Rhys perspective from Illyrian Tremors on A03. I have always wanted to read this from his perspective, because I imagine there is a lot behind the scenes we don’t get to see from him.

This was heartbreaking and so incredible. If SJM ever needed a ghost writer, Illyrian tremors is the one.

The story from Rhys’ perspective is so powerful, and shows just how much someone in love is willing to give and push to the side and sacrifice for their love/mate/partner.

He has major PTSD, trauma, anxiety and depression too, but tries to keep it together as much as he can for Feyre and his inner circle. It is heartbreaking, watching him try to be strong for everyone.

I loved getting insight into his thoughts and feelings, and loved seeing his reactions to the note passing – I loved Feyre’s but his utter delight was so good omg.

I personally think Rhysand’s perspective should be canon with the series, and I will be reading it every time I reread.

Worthy of a Re-read.

Is it worthy of a re-read? Let's get to reading and find out. If I love it I might start immediately over again...who knows? Genres: fantasy, romantasy, smut, sci-fi, dark romance, and more! I read on average 2-4 books per week, and average 150+ books per year. I am passionate about reading books and sharing my reviews and discussing books with like minded readers and friends. One of my favorite parts of reading a good book is mentally processing the contents and getting to share my thoughts about it both online and in person with those around me.
